Questions

Why isn't my iPhone showing up?

Its battery arrives over the same link Finder uses. Plug the phone in once, tick "Show this iPhone when on Wi-Fi" in Finder, and Lark picks it up from then on without the cable.

Are the percentages exact?

They're estimates. Devices round their own levels coarsely before broadcasting them, and a reading can be stale or missing entirely — so treat Lark as a heads-up, not an instrument.

What does it need access to?

Bluetooth, or there's nothing to read. Notifications only if you want the low-battery alerts, and Accessibility only if you want noise control from the menu bar. Details in the privacy policy.

What's the catch?

There isn't one. No account, no trial, no paid tier, and no feature held back. Tips are welcome and change nothing about the app.

Lark is free. It'll stay that way.

No licence, no trial, no paid tier, nothing held back. If it saved you from a dead pair of AirPods and you feel like buying me a coffee, that's the whole business model.

Buy me a coffee

Entirely optional, and it changes nothing about the app.
